Finding that Siu is poisoned by the food when they are having dinner at the Peaceful Mansion, the clans' leader suspect YUEN of killing them in order to be the leader of the alliance. Trusting YUEN, CHOR persuades the others to investigate the truth. While curing SIU, PRIEST HUNG is attacked and the corpses are stolen. Poisoned, CHUN is saved by CHOR and WU. To see the case more clearly, CHOR decides to leave the mansion. ABBESS FU MUI secretly meets the EMPEROR, her past lover. She hates him for abandoning her while she is pregnant. Indifferent to the EMPEROR's intention to commit suicide, she refuses to tell him where his son is. When CHOR meets YING, he finds that the EMPEROR is persuading CHING to return home.
