Seeing the beggar who had approached their doorstep, as a guest returning, Anjana stops him and welcomes him into her house. She later agrees to serve him all the food that she had cooked, especially for Lord Shiva. The beggar eats up all the food after indulging in regular crticism against Anjana. After finishing his meal the beggar starts to boast about himself and at the same time speaks ill of Lord Shiva. Anjana, who until now had kept calm, gets upset hearing the insult of her Lord, and she starts to defend Shiva against the criticism thrown towards the Lord by the beggar. But Anjana is enthralled when the beggar transforms into Lord Shiva and accepts her long penance.
